How the Golf Day Rating works
Every daylight hour starts at 10 points and loses points for things that make golf less fun:

Anything between 13 °C and 28 °C counts as ideal. Scores then translate into plain English:
- 9–10: Flag-hunting weather. Go.
- 7–8: Great day. Minor wind or warmth.
- 5–6: Playable, pack layers. Expect to work for it.
- Under 5: Hit the simulator. The resort lists golf simulators and a Toptracer range, so check what's open.
Reading Predator Ridge weather like a local
Mornings run cool. The course sits at roughly 640–700 m, well above downtown Vernon (about 384 m by the same terrain model). In April, May, September and October, the first tee times of the day can be several degrees cooler than the afternoon, and frost delays are possible in the shoulder months. Summer afternoons bring wind and heat. In July and August the average high is about 27.5 °C (model data). If you're walking, or you don't like playing in heat, book early.
Smoke can change a day fast. In fire season, check the air-quality line in the tool, plus official B.C. advisories, before you drive up.
