It depends on your game. The Ridge ranks higher (#24 vs #86 on SCOREGolf's 2026 Top 100 in Canada) and has bigger views. The Predator is a more classic, links-style test with tricky multi-tiered greens. Take our course-match quiz.

Yes. The resort takes public tee times as well as members. Book directly with the resort. This independent site can't book tee times.

Roughly April to mid-October. In 2026 the courses opened on 8 April, and the resort lists 17 October as the last public play day, after Golftoberfest. Confirm dates with the golf shop. More on the season page.

About 640–700 m (2,100–2,300 ft) above sea level, based on a terrain model. The resort publishes no official elevation. Published rules of thumb suggest about +1.2% carry per 1,000 ft, or roughly 2.5% more carry than at sea level. Try the carry calculator.

Yes: the 1993 BC Open (won by Eric Woods), the 2000 Export 'A' Skins Game (Fred Couples won $135,000) and the 2008 Telus World Skins Game (Camilo Villegas won $230,000). See History.

We couldn't find a verifiable published course record for either course, so we don't list one. Ask the golf shop.

Yes. The resort lists a Doug Carrick-designed practice facility with grass tees, Toptracer technology, target greens, a short-game area and two putting greens, plus golf simulators.

No. Membership is separate. There's an optional Homeowner Membership for owners, and a Transferable Club Membership open to anyone. Prices aren't published, so ask the membership office.

No. The province's taxable-areas page says "The Predator Ridge resort in the City of Vernon is not part of the taxable areas," even though the rest of Vernon is taxable. Confirm that a specific property is inside the resort boundary. See the buying guide.

Not automatically. The provincial exemption covers accommodations managed by the resort's own rental program. Other properties fall under Vernon's rules (business licence, principal-residence requirement unless exempt, guest and parking limits) and your strata's bylaws. Details here.

No Predator Ridge-specific statistics are published. As one example, a new 2,648 sq ft Vale home on a fairway was listed at $1,995,000 in September 2026. The North Okanagan single-family benchmark was $794,300 in August 2026, and resort homes usually sit well above that. Ask Sean for a comparative market analysis.

Vernon. It's inside City of Vernon limits, south-west of downtown off Commonage Road, and about 30 minutes from Kelowna's airport.

Predator Ridge is in School District 22 (Vernon). Catchment for specific addresses should be confirmed with the district's School Locator or by emailing transportation@sd22.bc.ca.

Vernon Jubilee Hospital and downtown Vernon are about 17 km, or 20 minutes by road. On site there's the Commonage Market, with a café, grocery, liquor store and Starbucks.

No. The resort has no waterfront. Ellison Provincial Park borders the community and has beaches on Okanagan Lake.

Yes. The resort lists a fitness centre, yoga studio, indoor 25 m pool, tennis and pickleball courts, 35+ km of trails and on-site dining, and Ellison Provincial Park is next door. See the lifestyle guide.

They vary widely by neighbourhood and building type, and some areas also have shared road or amenity costs. Sean can pull the Form B and fee history for any listing.

It's in a wildfire-interface area, like much of the Okanagan. In August 2026 the Bradley Creek fire north of Vernon wasn't reported to affect the resort. Ask insurers about coverage, and look into FireSmart practices.
