Getting here
Predator Ridge is in the City of Vernon, south-west of downtown off Commonage Road, between Vernon and Lake Country and Kelowna. The resort's address is 301 Village Centre Place, Vernon. The resort says it's 30 minutes from Kelowna International Airport (YLW), and our routing estimate agrees at about 32 km and 34 minutes.

The Rise
A Fred Couples and Gene Bates design from 2008 with 12 holes and lake views, about 1,000 ft above Okanagan Lake. It's the closest course to Predator Ridge, a short drive away. theriseresort.ca
Vernon Golf & Country Club
Established in 1913, it's a private membership club: par 72, 6,609 yards per Tourism Vernon. It hosted the PGA of BC Club Pro Championship on 28–29 September 2026. vernongolf.com
Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club
18 championship holes plus a 9-hole executive course of 2,700+ yards. Its tagline is "golf for everyone," and it has men's, ladies' and seniors' leagues. It's usually the first North Okanagan course to open. spallumcheengolf.com
Hillview & Overlander
Hillview is an 18-hole executive course and a locals' favourite. Overlander opened on 15 April in 2026. Both are good for a relaxed extra round. Tourism Vernon golf
Kelowna, 30 to 50 minutes south
Kelowna has more courses than any other Okanagan city. Notable ones, with their architects, per Golf in British Columbia:
- Okanagan Golf Club: the Bear (Jack Nicklaus) and the Quail (Les Furber, who also designed the Predator Course), near the airport

A sample five-day trip
- Day 1: Fly into YLW, then warm up on the Toptracer range at Predator Ridge.
- Day 2: Morning round on the Ridge, then an afternoon walk in Ellison Provincial Park.
- Day 3: The Predator Course, then dinner on site. The resort lists RANGE and Pallino's among its restaurants.
- Day 4: Road trip to Tobiano in Kamloops (about 2 h), or stay local at The Rise.
- Day 5: A Kelowna round near the airport (Okanagan Golf Club), then fly home.
When to go: June and September are the sweet spots for comfortable temperatures and long days. July and August are hotter and drier, and the wildfire-smoke risk is higher. Early October means Golftoberfest value but short days and cool mornings. More on the season page.
